Whipped lavender nourishing cream

Whipped lavender nourishing cream

This is a simple, inexpensive DIY whipped lavender nourishing cream. It will help hydrate and nourish your skin. To top it off it will prevent aging of the skin and may reduce acne.

Coconut oil:

This oil is packed with healthy fats called medium-chain fatty acids, which help keep skin moisturized and smooth to the touch. It is also a good source of vitamin E, which is known as a potent skin health vitamin.

Lavender essential oil:
The main ingredient in this lavender nourishing cream is great for the skin. Lavender is a potent antibacterial and antifungal agent, which means that it can help clean the skin from harmful substances. “It contains powerful antioxidants that will prevent and counteract the irritating effects of pollutants on the skin,” explains Claude Saliou, Ph.D., director of research and development for Johnson & Johnson. “Plus, studies have shown that elevated stress results in rough skin, so lavender can improve skin by acting as a mentally calming agent.”

Whip the following ingredients with a whisk or food processor:

1 cup coconut oil (hard)
5 drops of lavender essential oil
Put all ingredients into a mixing bowl.

Note: Do not melt the coconut oil as it will not whip

Mix on high speed with a wire whisk for 5 minutes
Put the whipped coconut oil into a glass jar and cover tightly.
Refrigerate

Take out when you need to use
Apply to the face and body
Do not rinse
If using on your face: Follow by spraying your face with organic rose hyrdrosol

Use this cream every night as you would a night face cream or body cream
Try this whipped lavender nourishing cream, your glowing face and wallet will thank you!
