- Eating organic foods as much as you can is key to optimal health.
- Strawberries are now in season and due to their many health benefits, they are becoming superfruits.
- So step in and make your own organic and raw jam, you will control the ingredients and know it is not packed with artificial sweeteners that are so bad for you.
- We know how beneficial to our health strawberries, raspberries, chia seeds and raw honey are.
- The polyphenols in strawberries work similar to over-the-counter medications like ibuprofen and aspirin, by stopping the activity of an enzyme called cyclooxygenase (COX), which causes inflammation.
- Because of these anti-inflammatory effects, strawberries may help with conditions like asthma, atherosclerosis, and osteoarthritis.
- This recipe is a fast one and once you have all the organic foods it needs, it will take less than 10 minutes to make.
- Note: This organic recipe is soy free, gluten free, sugar free and pectin free.
