With the cold weather your nose can get very dry and chapped.
We love DIY remedies as they are natural and save us money.
Coconut oil is great as a moisturizer, contains vitamin E and is a skin healer.
Best chapped nose remedy:
1 teaspoon coconut oil
3 drops tea tree oil
Mix and apply with a Qtip on your chapped nose
Follow with a synthetic-free face cream or salve
We like Suki butter cream salve.
I recommend Mountain Rose Herbs as a reputable source for essential oils and Living Tree Community Foods for a good raw and organic coconut oil.
For how to make your own coconut oil.
Please drink a lot of water to stay hydrated and blowing your nose too much.
