- Organic honey and apple cider candy bars recipe:
- 1/2 cup of organic coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp of organic Ceylon cinnamon
- a dash of organic clove powder
- a dash of pink Himalayan salt
- 1 cup of organic apple cider
- 1 cup of raw organic honey
- Make sure all ingredients are organic
- Directions:
- Add the apple cider to a deep BPA-free saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Once it starts boiling, add the coconut oil.
- Add the honey, cinnamon, clove powder and stir.
- Continue cooking the mixture until the temperature reaches 300 degrees Fahrenheit and it starts thickening.
- Stir often.
- Put some parchment paper on an 8×8 baking pan and pour the mixture onto the pan.
- Let it cool until it thickens and dries. (about 30 minutes)
- Lift the parchment paper and slice the candy into rows with a thick sharp knife. Then into candy shaped squares.
- You can wrap them individually in paper and even add names to make it fun.
