- With the Coronavirus upon us we wanted to share a great immune booster juice to help your immune system and gut flora.
- This juice is armed with nature’s very best:
- Apples:
- They are packed with an antioxidant called quercitin, which is known as a powerful immune system booster.
- Carrots:
- They are an excellent source of beta-carotene, which is a potent infection fighting antioxidant.
- Ginger:
- It contains volatile oils such as zingiberene, gingerol, and shogoal which have shown anti-inflammatory and antibacterial and anti viral properties. The antibacterial properties can help kill the bacteria that causes infections.
- Lemon juice:
- Vitamin C is very well known as an immune boosting antioxidant, and lemons provide plenty of it. A strong immune system can help fight infections.
- Raw honey:
- Honey may help relieve coughs and trouble sleeping. A single dose of buckwheat honey was just as effective as a single dose of dextromethorphan in relieving nocturnal cough. Raw honey has antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties, which help fuel the immune system.
- Turmeric:
- Turmeric is a potent spice for many ailment and overall health.
