Sore Throat Reliever
Sore throat is a pain or irritation in the throat that becomes worse as you swallow.
“A sore throat is the primary symptom of pharyngitis — inflammation of the throat (pharynx). But the terms “sore throat” and “pharyngitis” are often used interchangeably,” describes Mayo Clinic.
They also add that sore throat is most often caused by a virus like a cold or flu. Because of the cold weather, our bodies are more susceptible to colds and the flu.
This potent sore throat reliever will help numb the pain and helps fuel the immune system to recover from infections faster.
Lets look at the ingredients:
- It has been used for years as an effective cold and flu remedy for years because of its anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties.
Cayenne pepper:
- This hot spice is a great immune booster, and also helps numb the pain from sore throats due to its pain relieving properties.
- It has a warming effect and helps the body release toxins through sweating. It stimulates blood flow and circulation and enhances perspiration. It is also armed with antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-fungal properties and fights germs and pathogens that cause colds and flu.
- It is a great source of vitamin C, a potent immune booster. Lemons also have antibacterial properties.
- Honey may help relieve coughs and trouble sleeping. A single dose of buckwheat honey was just as effective as a single dose of dextromethorphan in relieving nocturnal cough.
- Raw honey has antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties, which help fuel the immune system and heal sore throats.
