- A healthy cranberry sauce from our kitchen to yours.
- You should eat cranberries all year long and make cranberry sauce more often. Cranberries are packed with antioxidants and are as potent as blueberries and nearly outrank almost every fruit and vegetable, including strawberries, spinach, broccoli, red grapes, apples, raspberries, and cherries.
- ONE CUP of cranberries has 8,983 total antioxidant capacity!
- Cranberry Sauce:
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 tsp minced fresh ginger
- 1 tsp minced orange zest
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 12 oz bag of fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/2 cup raw honey (or coconut nectar foe a veagn version)
- Directions:
- Bring orange juice, ginger, zest and cinnamon to a boil.
- Rinse cranberries
- Add cranberries on the boiling liquid
- Reduce heat to medium and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Add honey or coconut nectar
- Makes 2 cups
